SCOPE: This project was to relocate (2) mobile classroom trailers, selectively demo and renovate 16,740 s.f. of existing Adult Education offices and classrooms, design a 7,730 s.f. addition for Adult Education offices and classrooms, design a 7,474 s.f. Multi-Purpose Room addition and design a 44,740 s.f. high school addition that provides large classrooms, laboratories, computer rooms and office space.

Work included connecting existing “C” building into new addition on “F” building so that all three buildings are connected along with a green space and plaza in front of building to allow groups to gather while waiting on transportation. New mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire suppression, alarm, technology, security and communication systems compatible with existing systems.

Existing buildings were occupied during construction, so scheduling, staging and safety controls were implemented to allow the owner to occupy. State of the art technology, equipment and design were incorporated throughout to enhance each students’ education along with creating a new image for the entire career center.
